Dante De Wilde
PhD student
Biography
Having carried out his Bachelor’s and Master’s theses under the supervision of Prof. Frank De Proft and Prof. Mercedes Alonso at the ALGC group, Dante went on to intern at the Neudecker group at the University of Bremen. During this time, his work focused on the Raman spectra of molecular cluster under pressure. This work is now continued at the ALGC group with the goal of investigating the effects of high pressure on reactivity through the use of the conceptual DFT framework.
Other research topics include Mechanochemistry and Electric field chemistry, and more specifically, the combination of both perturbations.
