Roberth Mateo Narváez Adams
Biography
Roberth Mateo joined the General Chemistry (ALGC) and the Electrochemical and Surface Engineering (SURF) research groups as a research PhD fellow in September 2022 with the support of EOS, FWO, and FNRS funds. He is part of the PHOSPORE project focusing on mastering metal-phosphonate properties in pore-size engineered catalysts for bio-refinery processes, where he works on validating the analytical signatures through simulations using the MOF/cluster environments; He is supervised by Professors Frederik Tielens, and Tom Hauffman. Previously, He obtained his degree as a Physicist at Yachay Tech University (Ecuador) in 2021, where he performed DFT studies on diamond surfaces with effects of hydrogenation and surface carbon vacancies on the atomic and electronic structure.
